Examines novels from various cultures and time periods and provides academic critique. This includes classic novels such as Frankenstein, The Bluest Eye and Catch 22 but also more recent releases such as The Fault in Our Stars and Harry Potter. Includes discussions of plot, characters, themes and structure as well as the work’s cultural and historical significance. Really useful for an introduction and overview to a novel.
